The ISO 3382-3 standard uses the measurable sound pressure based parameters D 2,S and L p ,A,S,4 m to describe acoustic properties of open-plan offices. As yet however, no treatment measurement uncertainty these according Guide expression Uncertainty in Measurement (GUM) is be found peer-reviewed literature. This technical note therefore describes how can declared GUM. mathematical framework presented here used expanded by other laboratories derive their own estimates. It also applied this document 44 measurements yielding combined uncertainties for 0.55 dB ≤ $ {\sigma }_{c,{D}_{2,\mathrm{S}}}$ 0.67 0.19 }_{c,{L}_{p,\mathrm{A},\mathrm{S},4\enspace \mathrm{m}}}$ 0.83 dB. implications result are discussed with regard limit values regulations.
